ROTH For The Evening Sun Celebrating its 50th anniversary on Sunday, the North Codorus Township Fire Co. planted three maple trees to honor its past, present and future volunteer members. The fire company replaced the Stoverstown Community Fire Co. that "went out of existence in the early '80s about the same time the carnival ended," said Robb Green, company president. "At about the same time, we (the new fire company) were searching for a funding source." In 1990, talks began with the township and, in the fall of '91, the fire company gave to the township the old fire company land, which is now the community center, and all of the equipment in order to have permanent funding of the fire company,
